Ingredients
- Fresh basil: 75 g
- Garlic: 4 cloves
- Parmesan cheese: ⅓ cup
- Olive oil: ⅓ cup
- Pine nuts: ⅓ cup
- Pasta: 500 g

Blend the basil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and olive oil in a food processor until a smooth pesto sauce is formed.

Pour the pesto sauce into a large pan.

Cook the pasta in boiling water for 8–10 minutes. Reserve about 10–12 ladles of the pasta cooking water and add it to the pesto sauce, mixing well.

Drain the pasta.

Place the pan over medium heat, add the pasta, and gently toss until the pasta is fully coated with the sauce.

Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and pine nuts before serving.
