Ingredients
- Rice: 1 cup
- Water: 10 cups
- Rose water: 2 tablespoons
- Sugar: 1 cup
- Brewed Saffron: a generous amount
- Slivered pistachios: as desired
- Slivered almonds: as desired
- Cinnamon: as desired
Instructions

Place the rice and water over heat and let it cook. While cooking, skim off any foam that forms on the surface.

Once the rice is fully cooked and soft, add the sugar, rose water, and saffron.

The cooking time is usually about 1.5 to 2 hours.

In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the slivered almonds and mix well.

Garnish the dessert with cinnamon, slivered pistachios, and almonds before serving.
