Ingredients

  • Mixed ground beef and veal: 250 g
  • Onion: 1
  • Breadcrumbs: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt, pepper, turmeric: to taste
  • Meat seasoning: optional
  • Sour pomegranate paste: 1 tablespoon
  • Sweet-and-sour plum paste: 1 tablespoon

Instructions

Mix the ground meat with finely chopped onion, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, turmeric, and meat seasoning. Knead well for about 10 minutes until fully combined.

Grease a pan and spread the meat mixture evenly across the surface.

Using a spoon or knife, score the meat into kebab-sized portions.

Place the pan over heat and cook until one side is browned, then flip to cook the other side.

Mix the pomegranate paste and plum paste with 1 cup of water and add to the pan.

Let the dish cook until the sauce thickens and the liquid fully evaporates.
