Ingredients

  • Chicken breast: 1
  • Sour pomegranate paste: 1 tablespoon
  • Sweet-and-sour plum paste: 1 tablespoon
  • Onion: 1 small
  • Chopped walnuts: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 3 cloves
  • Aromatic herbs: Choochagh, Marzeh (savory), mint, and Kot-kuteh
  • Salt, pepper, turmeric: to taste
  • Oil: a little

Instructions

Cut the chicken into small cubes.

Add the finely chopped onion, crushed garlic, pomegranate paste, plum paste, walnuts, aromatic herbs, salt, pepper, turmeric, and a little oil. Mix everything well.

Let the chicken marinate in the mixture for about 2 hours.

Then place the chicken in a pan, cover with a lid, and cook until the chicken is fully cooked and the liquid has reduced.
