In a pot, add the lentils, potatoes, butter, salt, and black pepper along with water.

Once the potatoes are cooked, remove them, mash them well, and return them to the lentils.

Add the cracked wheat and barley.

Let the lentil stew cook until it thickens and develops a rich, creamy texture.

Finely dice the onion and fry it with salt, pepper, and turmeric, then add it to the lentils and mix well.
